Where did you go to school and when did you graduate? What license do you currently hold and how many years have you been conducting therapy?
How did you hear about us and the position?
What is it about Modern Therapy in particular that pulled your interest?
As you seek a new work home, what are you yearning for? What are you seeking that you don't currently have or would like more of?
Many therapists experienced something personal in their lives that led them to become a therapist. What moved you to enter this field?
How do you conceptualize change? In other words, what mechanisms/factors are required for change to occur within therapy?
Our full time clinicians are free to design their schedules however they please from Monday through Sunday so long as they are managing a full caseload. Due to the nature of our professional population, our clients are often doing their best to juggle demanding work schedules, parenting schedules, and travel. As you imagine your own needs for work-life balance, what kind of flexibility and scheduling would you be committed to offering to meet our clients' needs? What needs might be important for us to know?
What theoretical framework do you use to conceptualize your clients? If you are integrative or eclectic, please describe how you work from that perspective.
Please describe the bulk of your clinical experience (i.e. mostly short term behavioral with adolescents, long term private practice with individuals ranging in X concerns, process groups for clients in X setting with Y concerns, manualized programs for X, etc.). If you have long term therapy experience, please elaborate on what that looked like.

Did you attain any additional training outside of your graduate program (wondering about additional training with specific populations or training in specific therapy modalities)?
How would you describe yourself interpersonally? Introverted? Extraverted? Easy going? Reserved? etc. If you know your Myers Briggs, please list.
How would you describe yourself in the therapy room?
Are you a dog person, cat person or neither? And why?
What feels vital to you in the workplace? What do you need to be happy?
Still there? One last question. What lights you up about therapy? What leaves you feeling meaning-filled and satisfied about this work?
