Modern Therapy has proudly served across the US and abroad since our establishment in 2015.

But the specifics get tricky so read on if you’re outside of Texas.

Here’s the long and short of it:

• Coaches have zero restrictions on where they can practice geographically.

• Therapists can only practice in the states they’re licensed in.

• Therapist licensing boards are trying to make progress to make across-state practice easier, but we’re not fully there yet.

• We are able to see our clients abroad only when that country doesn’t have any restrictions on it.

• We often begin with a consultation call prior to offering services out of state to make sure we’re the appropriate fit for your needs.

• You don’t have to figure out whether we can serve you in your state on your own. We can tell you. We believe in serving our mission AND as ethical providers, we’ll help you get what you need locally if we don’t have the green light from our board to serve you in your geographic area. There’s a path forward no matter where you are.
