 MA, LPC

You’ve found a place to feel not only seen but deeply cared for. It’s no secret that life can be messy, and at some point, we’ll face unknown transitions, loss, and challenges. Instead of feeling that weight fall on your shoulders alone, I’m here with open arms to lighten the load.

When I reflect on the work that really speaks to my soul and reminds me of my purpose, I can’t help but think about the moments with people deeply entangled in struggles like self-doubt, anxiety, depression, and feeling a bit lost. I’ve also seen the way these experiences may leave us grasping for control anywhere we can find it and giving way to things like disordered eating and other coping strategies to try to make it through..

There’s one moment in particular that I’ll never forget when a client who had a lot of trouble opening up about what they were experiencing found that safety in our space to share for the first time on things they’ve held close for years. In that moment, I simply expressed “That sounds heavy to carry. Thank you for trusting me with this,” and when they replied with “I’ve never had someone respond like that without trying to fix it,”

I remembered just how powerful it is to sit with someone in their truth without judgment or trying to solve things right that second. It wasn’t that I wasn’t looking at the path forward, but I did know the power of space to come fully and authentically as you are and feel seen and understood. That is the catalyst to be vulnerable, and approach challenges through a new lens of confidence and connection to self. When I see you find your voice in ways you never thought were possible, I know we’re about to do some life-changing work.

Life’s transitions—whether joyful or painful—can spark incredible growth when met with kindness, curiosity, and support. My approach centers around you; understanding your inner world, hearing you, seeing your strengths, and valuing the unique factors that make you who you are.
